Ambassador Planty is Adjunct Professor of Government at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.  Ambassador Planty will teach a graduate level seminar at Maxwell’s Washington Division in May 2007 on current US Policy in Latin America.

Ambassador Planty has also been asked by the Maxwell School to supervise “Global South”, its annual graduate level program in Santiago, Chile. The Chilean experience will consist of a seminar on current trends in Latin America and the Caribbean and students will be placed in internships with local government agencies and businesses.

Planty & Associates plans to accept a major project with a Colombian manufacturer of agricultural-based products to assist with marketing the company’s products in the United States.

Planty & Associates plans to join forces with a Tennessee company to pursue real estate investments in Central America, one of the fastest growing sectors of the Central American economies.

Two new associates have joined the company, Dr. Alvin P. Drischler, a specialist on international finance and energy and Matthew D. Planty, a California-based business advisory expert.
